Families are invited to join us and participate in the Big Library Read, a partnership with the Scarborough Middle School. This year's title is A Snake Falls to Earth by Darcie Little Badger. This award-winning title draws on traditional Lipan Apache storytelling structure to weave an unforgettable tale of monster, magic and family.
Students enrolled in Scarborough schools will have the opportunity to borrow the eBook or audiobook with no waitlists on Sora from November 2-16. Families and the larger community can access the title through Scarborough Public Library's CloudLibrary with no waitlists or in print. Students will be offered listening opportunities and book activities in school during Rise periods November 8-10 as well as discussions after Thanksgiving break.
