The library is seeking a page to work morning hours. A library page sorts and shelves books, magazines, newspapers, audiovisual and other collection items to assist in the day-to-day operation of the library. This position begins 1-2 hours prior to the library opening with four-hour shifts, four days a week for a total of 16 hours. The day begins at 8AM at the latest, earlier if desired. An occasional Saturday is also required.
The Library Artist Series runs from July 2026 through June 2027, offering sessions and workshops from Maine artists at the library. These events give participants the opportunity to learn directly from local creatives. Offerings are free, open to all experience levels, and designed for a non-studio setting. Artists interested in participating should complete the application form.
