Welcome to the Teen Page

We have designated technology, social, and study spaces reserved exclusively for our teen customers, as well as teen specific print and nonprint materials. We offer homework help and terrific book recommendations in a supportive and friendly atmosphere.

An Important Note to Parents/Guardians: The new school year brings added after school activity to the Library. We are here to support sutdents in their academic needs, and encourage them to consider joining our weekly teen programs (see below). We also have expectations of the students when they are here, as the Library serves many other members of the public during these hours. Please review our After School Policy and the hours we are open, and share this information with your child.

Prompt pick up is also important; library staff is not on site after hours, and there is no covered area outside for students to wait. If you have any questions, call Youth Services or email: kids [at] scarboroughlibrary.org or call: (207) 883-4723, option 3. We look forward to working together to make this a great acedemic year.
