Kids getting restless? Family visiting and looking for something to do? Thanks to the generosity of the Friends of Scarborough Library, we have a solution! With your library card, you can borrow passes to the museums and attractions in the area.

Rules:

The library pass allows free entry for up to two adults and six children.

Maine Wildlife Park logo
Maine Wildlife Park

This pass provides a discounted admission rate to the Maine Wildlife Park. 

Rules: 

  • To be used by individuals or families only, not large groups (7 people or less)
  • Each member of the family (4 years old and up) using this pass will be charged a $3.50 admission fee (cash or check only)
  • Pass is seasonal and good between April and November, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. Opening/closing dates may vary.
  • Visitors can stay at the Park until 6:00 pm.

Maine State Park Pass

Over 700,000 acres of Maine’s natural and cultural resources are managed by the Bureau of Parks and Lands. Conservation easements and leases bring the total land area managed to over 2 million acres. With a Maine State Park Pass, you can visit state parks and historic sites without paying day-use fees (entrance fees).

Rules: 

  • 3 day checkout
  • No renewals
  • Covers entrance fee only
  • $105 replacement fee if lost
  • Pass is not accepted at some locations.
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens logo
Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens

“The mission of Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens (CMBG) is to inspire meaningful connections among people, plants and nature through horticulture, education and research.”

Rules: 

Pass allows up to two (2) adults and children (no limit) to enter the gardens for free.

Patrons need to reserve a date and time slot through the library, but can check availability through CMBG’s website by clicking here.

The library pass cannot be used for admission into Gardens Aglow during the winter months.

Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine

The Children's Museum & Theatre of Maine exists to inspire discovery and imagination through exploration and play.

Rules: 

This pass entitles the holder to a 50% discount to one play session for up to four people.
