I’m a father of a young son, and at his age, I was spending most of my free time either playing in the woods or reading in the Thomas Memorial Library in Cape Elizabeth. As an adult, I had the good fortune to move to Scarborough, and the honor to become part of the Scarborough Library Board of Trustees. My son now spends his time in the stacks, just like his dad. I’m thrilled to be a part of a wonderful library today, and even more excited to help our town develop a vision and a strategy to create something that my grandson will use in the future - making for three generations of readers committed to the community resource of a public library.
