The mission of the Scarborough Public Library is to provide access to a broad and deep collection and high-quality services that promote lifelong learning in a welcoming, community-centered facility.

We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supported by the town of Scarborough, grants, sponsors, and individual donations. The library champions literacy in all its forms, providing free access to books, technology, programs, and resources for all residents.
