David McCann returns to the Library for an evening of sijo poetry. David is a retired Harvard Professor of Korean Literature, published poet, and highly recognized expert in Korean sijo – a counterpart to the Japanese poetry form of haiku. He has also spent many summers on HIggins Beach and incorporates his time in Maine in his works. David will begin the evening with readings from his recently published collection Lost and Found, then continue with an informal workshop in writing this unique poetry form.
