Volunteering at the library

Thank you for considering a volunteer position at the library!  Typically there are plenty of opportunities to work behind-the-scenes either on a one-time special project, or on an ongoing basis. Volunteers care for the perennial gardens; deliver books to the home-bound and to nursing homes; help with bulk mailings; assist with keeping our DVDs clean and working; and keep our shelves of books clean and in proper order. However, we have severely cutback on volunteer hours during the pandemic due to safety concerns and limited volunteer work spaces.

For more information, or to get on the list for future position openings, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Kathy Rauth, by email (krauth@scarboroughlibrary.org) or phone (396-6272).
