Parent & Child Play LogoParent & Child Workshops

As a designated member of the Family Places Libraries network, we embrace the fact that literacy begins at birth, and libraries can help build healthy communities by nourishing healthy families. Our Parent & Child Workshops are a series of play-based learning times for toddlers ages 0 to 3 and their parents/caregivers. They include open exploration of developmental materials to encourage playful learning. Each session will also include a professional who will serve as a resource for parents to encourage their role as the first teachers of their children.

Registration is not required to participate.  For more information contact Youth Services at 883-4723 option 3.

Please note that Tuesday story times will not be offered during this series. We encourage families who are not participating in the workshop to visit us in our Youth Room!
