This special "drop in" workshop will be offered from 9:30am to 11:00am in place of our regular Tuesday story times on November 14. It is free to attend, and no registration is required. As a designated member of the Family Places Libraries network, we embrace the fact that literacy begins at birth, and libraries can help build healthy communities by nourishing healthy families. Our play-based workshops offer “exploration stations” featuring developmental toys you can enjoy with your child(ren). Our special guest, Chelsea Canedy, will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about child behavior. Chelsea is a Parent Educator at The Center for Parenting and Play at Saint Andre, Inc. She specializes in brain-based, attachment-focused techniques, helping parents better understand how human brains function in order to parent in a more effective, connected way. Chelsea is also involved in meditation instruction. FMI, contact the Youth Room at 883-4723 option 3.
