Friends of the Scarborough Library Programs

The Scarborough Public Library is fortunate to have a fantastic Friends group. In addition to being valued Library advocates, the Friends of the Scarborough Library  hold the much-anticipated annual book sale in June. Funds support the Library collection, annual movie licenses needed to make our Monday Movie Matinee series possible, our monthly subscription to BookPage, free passes to area museums and family attractions - and finanial support for the Library's popular Summer Reading Program for the youth in our community. Book Sale: Public Day 2

Friends of the Library, Annual Book Sale,

Day 2 hours: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. More books are waiting for a new home. Goodbye to tents; hello to more room to shop and park! This year’s book sale returns to the Scarborough High School Cafe to accommodate the more than 25,000 donated books. All materials are sorted in genres to make browsing easier.
